DINO RIZZO

     Dino Rizzo has been senior pastor of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, since he and his wife DeLynn founded the church in 1993. God has blessed them with three children: McCall, Dylan, and Isabella.
     As a young pastor with a passionate calling to bring healing to hurting people, he inspires Christians to step out of their safety zones, abandon their fears, and connect to others with bold love. He encourages everyone to find what it is that makes them come alive so they can become the people God created them to be. But when all is said and done, touching the poor and hurting is his consuming passion. This is reflected in the heart of the people at Healing Place Church, where God has built an incredible team of people who love Him and love one another, and work tirelessly from six different campus locations to reach their community and world with the hope of Jesus. Whether it is giving water away at a busy intersection, cooking hundreds of thousands of meals for hurricane evacuees, tuning up cars for single mothers, or hosting free medical clinics, the people of HPC love to serve.
     One of the church's campuses is located in Donaldsonville, Louisiana , which is one of the poorest areas in the entire country. The campus has been a place where dreams come alive. Serving the people of that community over the last three years has resulted in God's blessings and hundreds of opportunities to touch hurting people with His love. As worship pastor, DeLynn Rizzo leads the church into an experience of worship that expresses authenticity and total devotion to God. The blend of excellence and passion to worship God in spirit and in truth creates an environment that allows for a deep connection of the Holy Spirit into people's hearts. Many lives around the world have been touched through several CD recording projects that were birthed from this heart of worship.
     Dino and DeLynn have a love for people all over the world who are hurting. Peru , India , Zimbabwe , Swaziland , Mozambique , Italy and Brazil are all countries where they have an especially strong connection. Much of the work they are involved in is with the poorest of the poor, including thousands of AIDS orphans and vulnerable children. The fire that burns in the hearts of Dino and DeLynn Rizzo and Healing Place Church is for hurting people; whether they are rich or poor, regardless of nationality or race. Their mission is clear—and they're living it out everyday— to be a healing place for a hurting world.
